Multiple organ normal tissue array, 47 cases/48 cores
|
|
| Microarray Panel: | Multiple organ normal tissue microarray, eight common types of normal human organs from normal biopsies, including breast, colon, esophagus, kidney, liver, lung, rectum and stomach, single core |
| Cores: | 48 |
|
| Cases: | 47 |
| Layout: | 8 cols × 6 rows |
| Core Diameter: | 1.5 mm |
| Thickness: | 5 µm | | Quality Control: | Anti-SMA confirmed | | Applications: | Routine histology procedures including ImmunoHistochemistry (IHC) and In Situ Hybridization (ISH), protocols which can be found on our support page. |
| Notes: | Unless specified, all TMA slides are not coated with extra layer of paraffin (tissue cores can be easily seen on the glass), so there is no need to bake, can be directly put into xylene for de-paraffin procedure. |
*Tissue Microarray Slide Types:
- Unstained: unstained
paraffin
tissue microarray slide.
- Trial: tissue microarray trial slide. 10% - 25% of cores missing. Good for titrating antibody dilution and experiment conditions. Limited numbers are available, to 2 per item per order. Test slides (tissue arrays with catalog numbers ending with 241 or 242) are recommended as a substitute.
- H & E: Hematoxylin and Eosin stained tissue microarray slide.

† For precise diagnosis, refer to pathology description.
**The grade 1-3 (or I-III) in Pathology Diagnosis is equivalent to well-differentiated, moderately-differentiated or poorly differentiated, respectively, under microscope.
Grade 1 or well-differentiated: Cells appear normal and are not growing rapidly.
Grade 2 or moderately-differentiated: Cells appear slightly different than normal.
Grade 3 or poorly differentiated: Cells appear abnormal and tend to grow and spread more aggressively.
Grade 4 or undifferentiated: *(for certain tumors), features are not significantly distinguishing to make it look any different from undifferentiated cancers which occur in other organs.
