FRA901a-2
Normal rat multiple organ frozen tissue array, for therapeutic and diagnostic antibody validation for FDA approval, 45 cases/45 cores, slide 2 of 2 tissue arrays, replacing FRA901-2
|
|
| Microarray Panel: | Normal rat multiple organ frozen tissue microarrarray, containing 15 types of normal rat organs (lung, salivary gland, ovary, pancreas, small intestine, pituitary, peripheral nerve, prostate, skin, spinal cord, spleen, skeletal muscle, testis, thymus and uterus), each organ taken from 3 normal rat individuals, single core per case |
| Cores: | 45 |
|
| Cases: | 45 |
| Layout: | 9 cols × 5 rows |
| Core Diameter: | 2 mm |
| Thickness: | 5 µm | | Quality Control: | Anti-Actin confirmed | | Applications: | Routine histology procedures including ImmunoHistochemistry (IHC) and In Situ Hybridization (ISH), protocols which can be found on our support page. |
| Notes: | Tissues were snap frozen in liquid nitrogen immediately after excision and were embedded in OCT. The array sections are 5-8 µm in thickness, mounted on positively charged glass slides, and briefly fixed by cold acetone. |
*Tissue Microarray Slide Types:
- Unstained: unstained
frozen
tissue microarray slide.
- Trial: tissue microarray trial slide. 10% - 25% of cores missing. Good for titrating antibody dilution and experiment conditions. Limited numbers are available, to 2 per item per order. Test slides (tissue arrays with catalog numbers ending with 241 or 242) are recommended as a substitute.
- H & E: Hematoxylin and Eosin stained tissue microarray slide.
