FDA Standard Frozen Tissue Array, for therapeutic and diagnostic antibody validation for FDA approval, 45 cases/45 cores, slide 2 of 2 tissue arrays, replacing FDA902-2

Microarray Panel:FDA Standard Frozen Tissue Microarray, containing 15 types of normal organs (ovary, pancreas, salivary gland, pituitary gland, placenta, prostate, skin, spinal cord, spleen, skeletal muscle, testis, thymus, thyroid gland, ureter, uterine cervix), each organ taken from 3 normal human individuals, single core per case
Cores:45
Cases:45
Layout:9 cols × 5 rows
Core Diameter:2 mm
Thickness:5 µm
Quality Control:Anti-Actin confirmed
Applications:Routine histology procedures including ImmunoHistochemistry (IHC) and In Situ Hybridization (ISH), protocols which can be found on our support page.
Notes:Tissues were snap frozen in liquid nitrogen immediately after excision and were embedded in OCT. The array sections are 5-8 µm in thickness, mounted on positively charged glass slides, and briefly fixed by cold acetone.
